SchoolSmart is a student-run organization devoted to creating mobile applications aimed towards helping students and teachers in their academic life. Currently we are working on an app for schools that will allow them to send notifications about news and events to students, as well as other cool features. Peer Genius
Peer Genius is a peer tutoring app created for students who seek help from their peers. Because the peer tutoring clubs at high schools are often not well run, low in technology, and fragmented, we will create an application where students no longer need to rely on the peer tutoring clubs or expensive professionals. The beauty of Peer Genius is that students do not have to choose to be a tutor or a tutee; instead, they can be both. Overall, the goal of Peer Genius is to provide free, quality education to students who need help with their studies.
Events Now
Our team will develop and launch an app called EventsNow that will serve as a database of all the events that are taking place in a neighborhood. Customers will be able to readily access information about events in their area based on interests and time constraints. Vendors, businesses, and other organizations will be able to advertise their events to a larger audience through this app.
