Showcase 2017

The purpose behind the OC Launch Showcase was to inspire interest in starting a company in high school with the help of OC Launch. With over forty attendees, the event consisted of a short introd-

uction to OC Launch by the president, presentations by students within OC Launch of their own business ideas, and a short question and answer period at the end. Immediately after each presentation, the audience was permitted to ask the student presenters questions, inquiring about their idea behind the business as well as the financial and operational strategy in expanding it. Following the presentations, all of the different students who presented moved to another room where students from the crowd could ask them more detailed questions and join them in growing the business. In conclusion, the first OC Launch Showcase was a definite success, and we intend to host another showcase in the upcoming year around April once again.
